Pueblo, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Vein Institute (RMVI),a network of vein centers that offers total vein care, from the simplest cosmetic problem to the most life-altering condition, is pleased to announce that Dr. Timothy J. Cawlfield has joined the company as a Phlebology Fellow and Board Certified Family Practice Physician. A specialist in vein disease and vein ablation, Dr. Cawlfield will treat patients in the RMVI Pueblo facility.

Dr. Cawlfield is an American Board of Family Medicine certified physician, serves as Eucharistic Minister at Villa Tower Nursing Home in Pueblo, and has written for a number of medical and industry publications. He completed his surgical internship at the University of Florida in Tampa, Fla., and was a family practice resident at Southern Colorado Family Medicine in Pueblo. He previously was an on-call doctor for the medical and surgical departments at the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo, and he owned and operated his own family practice clinic. Dr. Cawlfield has a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Denver, and a M.D. from the University of Colorado Health Science Center School of Medicine.
