Scott N. Hurlbert, MD, MBA
Dr. Hurlbert has been treating vascular patients in Colorado Springs since 1998 and has many “firsts” on his resume. Not only was he the first in southern Colorado to perform minimally invasive Aortic Endograft repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms, he also was the first in the region to do rotational atherectomy for blockages in leg arteries and the first to perform laser ablation for the treatment of varicose veins.

Jennifer Medina, FNP, AGACNP, is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular Institute. Medina received her training through the fellowship program developed and led by Dr. Gordon Gibbs, American Vein & Vascular Institute Founder and Chief Medical Executive.
Deborah Rice, AGNP-c
Deborah Rice, AGNP-c is a nurse practitioner at American Vein & Vascular Institute. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at UMass and a Master of Science in Clinical Physiology at Northeastern University.
