Phlebologist

Kendra Duckstein AGNP, ANP, Dip ACLM is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular.  Kendra has been working in healthcare since 2001. She practiced as an ICU RN in Chicago at Evanston Hospital and in Colorado at the University of Colorado hospital in Aurora as well as an Interventional Radiology nurse at the University of Colorado Hospital at Aurora. In 2016, after earning her Nurse Practitioner, she worked in primary care roles and in Interventional Radiology.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. She then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus.  Kendra earned her Lifestyle Medicine certification in 2020 and values the connection between nutrition, stress management, sleep, exercise, and social connectiveness as the foundation of all medicine to promote health as well as reverse and minimize disease.

Duckstein received her phlebology training through the fellowship program developed by Dr. Gordon Gibbs, American Vein & Vascular Institute Founder and Chief Medical Executive. Completion of the fellowship ensures that doctors are trained in the American Vein & Vascular Institute treatment philosophy, which focuses on patient-centric, personalized care paired with compassion and expertise.
