PUEBLO, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Vein Institute (RMVI), a network of vein diagnosis and treatment centers in Colorado and Texas, announces that the company has been selected for ColoradoBiz Magazine’s Top 250 Private Companies list, which has been published in the October issue. Private companies’ rankings for the list were based on self-reported revenues, and RMVI came in at a rank of 135.
Rocky Mountain Vein Institute is owned by RMVI Services CEO Erin Reilly Gibbs and her husband, Gordon F. Gibbs, M.D. The pair co-founded Rocky Mountain Vein Institute in 2009, RMVI Services in 2010, and Trinity Vein Institute in Arlington, Texas in 2012, with the goal of caring for people with venous disease, especially those without access to vein specialists. Their company began with three employees and now employs 40.
A Mayo Clinic trained interventional radiologist, Dr. Gibbs is certified in phlebology and board certified in diagnostic radiology and vascular/interventional radiology. He has Diplomate status with the American College of Phlebology, and holds medical licenses in Minnesota, Colorado and Texas. A philanthropist and sought-after speaker and instructor, Dr. Gibbs is also Medical Director of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center in Pueblo. He serves on the faculty for Covidien Vascular and is a Principal Investigator with Vascular Insights, which engages in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease.
“Our reputation is growing, built on a foundation of the best in patient care, innovation, and quality of service that both referring physicians and patients alike can rely on,” says Dr. Gibbs. “RMVI has seen an astonishing 1200 percent growth rate since January 2010, primarily due to our carefully chosen staff of well-credentialed, vein-specialized physicians.”
“Gordon and I give our top-notch medical staff the credit for RMVI’s steady growth and success,” agrees Erin Gibbs. “To be recognized on ColoradoBiz Magazine’s Top 250 Private Companies list is a reflection of their achievement and their dedication to the very best in patient care.”
Erin Gibbs serves as the campaign chairwoman for Breast Center of Excellence (BCOE), where she led the launch of a $1.5 million campaign. Recently, she co-chaired the 2013 Auction Committee for the American College of Phlebology’s XVII International Union of Phlebology (UIP) World Meeting.
