Pueblo, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Vein Institute (RMVI), a network of vein centers that offer total vein care from the simplest cosmetic problem to the most life-altering condition, is pleased to announce that the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) awarded accreditations to RMVI’s facilities in Pueblo, Colo., and Parker, Colo.
The RMVI Pueblo facility received IAC accreditation for Peripheral Arterial, Extra-cranial Cerebrovascular and Peripheral Venous testing, and the RMVI Parker facility received IAC accreditation for Extra-cranial cerebrovascular and Peripheral Venous testing. The prestigious accreditations are for three-year-terms and are awarded only to facilities that demonstrate exemplary and outstanding patient care, in compliance with rigorous national standards.
RMVI underwent a comprehensive application process that involved a detailed case study review, including a thorough examination of operational components, as well as a rigorous review of RMVI’s testing and imaging protocols. Widely respected within the medical community, IAC accreditation assures patients and referring physicians of the high quality care provided by Rocky Mountain Vein Institute.
“We are thrilled to have met the standards required to secure the IAC accreditation,” says RMVI founder, chief medical executive and medical director, Gordon F. Gibbs, M.D. “Our patients and the physicians that refer patients to us can feel assured that they are receiving the best-practice care, technology and treatment available in vascular testing and treatment.”
