PUEBLO, Colo. – Rocky Mountain Vein Institute (RMVI), a network of vein diagnosis and treatment centers in Colorado and Texas, has announced a corporate restructuring that involves two new additions to the management team and a reorganization of RMVI Services into four separate lines of service, including: Financial Services, Strategic Services, Clinic Services, and Compliance & Regulatory Services. New additions to the RMVI management staff include Jennifer Palmer as Vice President of Strategic Services, and Philip Malone as Vice President of Clinic Services.
As Vice President of Strategic Services, Palmer oversees business development, new growth potential, marketing, corporate events and strategy for the medical clinics, The Compression Center and The Diagnostic Center. Palmer’s career highlights include marketing and sales positions at Pete’s Brewing Company and Infinite Spirits. In addition, she was founder and operator of her own multi-site retail company, Freckle’s Children’s Boutiques in California. Palmer holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Art History from Santa Clara University. She has served on numerous boards for startups and developing organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, including most recently, the Northstar-at-Tahoe Foundation.
As Vice President of Clinic Services, Malone is responsible for business/operational efficiency and excellence in patient care. He formerly served as Practice Administrator for Oklahoma Multispecialty Group, a network of 16 urology clinics in Oklahoma. Prior to that, he was CFO of Oklahoma Goodwill Industries; Director of Operations/Client Services for Zotec, a medical billing company; Vice President of Revenue Management for Curologic HealthCare Solutions; Director of Operations for an Oklahoma pathology group; and in addition, he was a financial analyst for a large financial institution. Malone holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma City University.
As part of the restructuring, John Sanchez transitions to Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Services. In his new role, Sanchez will focus on quality of care, patient relations, government/legal/risk management and compliance, required accreditations and training, and facilities management. Barb DiMatteo transitions to Vice President of Financial Services and continues to oversee financial strategy for the company.

Dr. Gibbs and his wife Erin founded Rocky Mountain Vein Institute in 2009, RMVI Services in 2010, and Trinity Vein Institute in 2012, with the goal of caring for people with venous disease, especially those without access to vein specialists. RMVI began with only three employees and now has more than 40, operating in four Colorado cities: Pueblo, Parker, Canon City, and Vail Valley, as well as in Arlington, Texas.
