Gordon F. Gibbs, MD

Gordon F. Gibbs, MD and his wife Erin Reilly Gibbs opened the first American Vein & Vascular Institute (formerly Rocky Mountain Vein Institute) in 2009 located in Pueblo, Colorado. The network of vein centers has since grown to be the largest in Colorado.

 

Paul John Rochon, MD, RPVI, FSIR

Dr. Paul John Rochon

Dr. Paul John Rochon is a dual board-certified Vascular & Interventional Radiologist with expertise in peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, women’s health, and pain management. Dr. Rochon has taught and directed interventional radiology resident programs, received awards, authored publications in peer-reviewed journals, and engaged in clinical research.

 

Timothy Cawlfield, MD

Timothy Cawlfield, MD, is a phlebologist specializing in the treatment of vein disease at American Vein & Vascular Institute. As a general practitioner licensed to practice medicine in Colorado with specialties in vascular disease and family medicine, Dr. Cawlfield has a hospital affiliation with Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colo.

 

Scott Hurlbert, MD

Dr. Scott Hurlbert received his medical degree from the University of Colorado, where he graduated with honors. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and his fellowship in vascular surgery, involving extensive experience in endovascular therapy, at Southern Illinois University.

 

Annette Seagraves, MD

A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Seagraves completed her residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. Dr. Seagraves is a member of numerous professional associations, including being a Diplomat of the Board of Phlebology, and is the only woman in Colorado to be elected to the American Association of Vascular Surgeons.

 

Timo M Quickert, MD

Dr. Timo Quickert is a board-certified Radiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He attended medical school in Heidelberg, Germany at one of the oldest universities in Europe.

 

Amber Kemnitz, MSN, APRN, NP-C

Amber Kemnitz RN,BSN, MSN, NP-C is certified nurse practitioner. She has a decade worth of experience in cardiovascular care. She is passionate about creating awareness of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia through early identification and treatment.

 

Kendra Duckstein, AGNP, RN

Kendra Duckstein, AGNP, RN is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular Institute. Duckstein is also a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in direct patient care as a RN.

 

Julie Current, MS, PA-C

Julie Current, MS, PA-C, is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular Institute. Current received her phlebology training through the fellowship program developed by Dr. Gordon Gibbs, American Vein & Vascular Institute Founder and Chief Medical Executive.

Angela Meyers, MS, PA-C

Angela Meyers, MS, PA-C, is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular Institute. Cole earned a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Nicole Gundersen, is a phlebologist at American Vein and Vascular Institute. Gundersen received her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Keiser University. Sarah K. Roark MSNL, AGACNP-BC is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular. Roark has been working in healthcare since 2005. She practiced as a Cardiothoracic ICU, Cath Lab, ER, and General ICU RN in Oklahoma, Florida, and Colorado.

 

Audrey L. Anderson, MSN, RN, ACNPC-AG, CEN, CCRN

Audrey L. Anderson, MSN, RN, ACNPC-AG, CEN, CCRN is a phlebologist at American Vein & Vascular. Anderson has been working in healthcare since 2011. She completed her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Masters Degree in Nursing from Purdue University, and earned her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certified Adult/Gerontology (ACNPC-AG) distinction through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
